  Well first of all, we had to ask for service 3 times even though we came in for a reserved seat. That alone ruined the experience for me. Then the table wasn't set and I had to ask for a set of chopsticks and when that arrived and I tried to use it then discovered law and behold...it was a used set of chopsticks. After we alerted the waitress to it she just took it away and never came back with a set of new chopsticks. They may have good food but service is atrocious, it seems like the waiter and waitress is lost and completely overwhelmed and consumed in their world! It's sad because I came here before and the service and food were wonderful. Sadly it has fallen into the wrong management or they have employed the wrong people to run their front of house and if I was the owner would seek to find new employees, ones that are friendly, competent and able to service a small family restaurant. We had to ask multiple times for getting any service during the night and each time got the classic "please wait a moment", so many moments that it amounted to an hour of moments. Not the kind of moments I want from a restaurant. There are way better restaurants in Brisbane now which offer what Bishamon provide and this will be my last visit here and for my friends.   The sashimi is excellent but the rice is too warm and dry, that's not how you make sushis, takes forever to get my bottle of water (requested in the beginning)
